Today I am excited to share my 2015 Christmas Home Tour with you! And, if you take a look at the bottom of this post you can stop by four other blogs to see some more Christmas Home Tours/Projects. You can also link up your Christmas and Holiday crafts/decor, recipes, etc. below!

Last week, I shared how I revamped my porch for Christmas with some new and old items. You can see that post by clicking HERE.

I still have some ideas that I want to work on for the porch for next Christmas, so stay tuned for that!

Once you walk inside, you’ll find I have a poinsettia wrapped in burlap on display and my chalkboard easel is decorated for Christmas.

This chalkboard easel from Kirkland’s is one of my favorite holiday accent pieces! I also have a new wallflower holder from Bath & Body Works, I am trying to collect a new light up one for each holiday/season. This one is a snowflake that lights up, you really can’t see how cute it is in this picture.

We only have one tree in our home, but I have plans to do a matchy match tree in our family room next Christmas. The tree you see here has all of our family ornaments on it. I do want to change out the ribbon on it sometime in the future as I have done this ribbon for several years now. I believe that changing out the ribbon every 2-3 years changes the look and feel of the entire tree, which can be fun!

Last Christmas I slaved away on this ruffled burlap skirt, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I really did slave away on it… burlap smells, sheds and I went through countless hot glue sticks and scorched fingers to make this skirt. But, it was so worth it. I told Brian that this burlap skirt will be under this tree for the rest of our days, because of the time I invested in making it. LOL. Here is the kids ‘Little People’ nativity set. I have been thinking about getting a ‘real’ nativity set now that the kids are 7 and 9 for under the tree.

The living space in our home is fairly open, so I tend to decorate in neutral and light colors. In this room, I just added some small gold ornaments and one of my favorite Bath & Body Works candles, Fireside. I always lay out the kids Christmas books in this room and they love to sit or lay on the floor (not the couch oddly) to read them.

Here you’ll see the mini gold ornaments I decorated these tables with. And, yes… that gold bowl DOES need some Christmas candy in it. I can’t seem to keep it full!

If you move out of this room, you’ll see I have my tinsel wreath hung up that I made last year. I usually just hang my Christmas cards on this door, too.

Here is a better photo of the tinsel wreath, it has a wooden monogram in the center. (See tutorial HERE.)

For the kitchen table I set up these wooden pillar and acorn candles from Hobby Lobby. I purchased the tree round plate from Homegoods. I usually have a simple centerpiece like this on the table, since we all eat on it for most meals.

I also always decorate our buffet rack for each holiday/season. Since we don’t have a fireplace mantel, I hang the kids stockings on the two drawer knobs.

CarrieChristmasHomeTour17
You’ll see I display a lot of the kids crafts from school and other Christmas knick knacks. The white pom pom garland and mini red chalkboard easel are new and from the Target dollar spot.

In our family room, I always decorate this gold mirror tray for the season. You’ll also see my laptop got dolled up for the holidays (see post HERE).

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas home tour. Make sure you check out the other great posts by my fellow craft bloggers. They have great project ideas and beautiful Christmas home tours to share with you. Take a look below!
