12 Months of Drinks: Glitzy Strawberry Champagne Drink

November 17, 2015 Leave a Comment

Hero_650
I thought I would share a holiday drink with you this month for 12 Months of Drinks and this Glitzy Strawberry Champagne drink will definitely be a winner! The strawberry puree added to this bubbly champagne drink makes it a popular holiday drink! And, a holiday drink isn’t complete without these glitzy golden sugar crystals added to its rim!

DONE13
Of course, every fancy holiday drink needs something sweet to go with it! I added a tray of these delicious champagne strawberries and sea salted caramels from Shari’s Berries. My favorite part is that the strawberries have the same gold sugar crystals on them as the rims of the champagne drink!

This drink is pretty easy to make, which will save you a lot of time this holiday season! Here are the directions (and the full recipe is included below):

Prep_Strawberries
Chop up 1 1/2 cups of strawberries.

Prep_Sugar Prep_Lemon-Juice
Add strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla to a food processor.

Prep_Puree
Puree the ingredients until smooth

Prep_Gold-Rim
Dip the tip of your rim in water and then dip into a plate spread with the gold sprinkles.

Done12
Fill the champagne glasses 1/3 full with the strawberry puree and then fill the rest of the glass up with your champagne. Enjoy!
