Brian and I were supposed to run a race this weekend, but I got the date mixed up and we missed it! Ugh! I guess out of all of the races I have signed up for and ran it was about time it happened. This particular race didn’t send out an email about race packet picket or anything and I was thinking the run was on Sunday morning… nope, it was on Saturday morning! OOPS! So, Brian and I went out for dinner Saturday night when otherwise we would have been going to bed early to prep for the race that we had missed anyway. Ahh, I think this is God’s way of telling me to slow down and that I have WAY too much going on right now. What do you think?! Anyway, there is always next year!

Fall Ombre Rosette Wreath


Bev at Flamingo Toes shared this gorgeous Fall Ombre Rosette Wreath at our party last week. I must be digging rosettes right now, because I shared a rosette wreath last week as my feature, too. I really love the gradual shift in color with the fabrics she chose for this wreath. What a beauty!
