Welcome back to another week of our Motivational Monday Link Up Party! Please keep my mom in your prayers… she was in a horrible accident this weekend while stopped at a red light. Someone hit her while going 60 mph and pushed her car inside a building! She had to crawl out of her car and was admitted into the hospital. God must have been watching over her, because her only injury is swollen legs due to the car crushing around her. Hopefully she will heal quickly and still be able to enjoy the holidays pain-free. Also, PLEASE remember to not drive while intoxicated… if you have any doubt at all in your mind about if you should be driving, DON’T. It is just not worth it!
We are gearing up for a really busy week at our household… I am helping decorate the trees at church, volunteering for the Santa’s Cottage at school (kids bring in money and get to buy small gifts for family members), Autumn’s dance watch week, Nathan’s Christmas play… Autumn has Christmas caroling AND Nathan has a cub scout Christmas party. YES! This is ALL this week… I also need to get my home ready and shot for a Christmas Home Tour that I am working on with some other bloggers… and, I want to get started on wrapping some gifts this week. On top of that, I am going to be worrying about my mom and praying she gets better!
Highlights from Curly Crafty Mom This Week:
This week I have been working on wrapping up some Christmas crafts that I will be sharing this week along with my Christmas home tour! I also worked on a Christmas craft that I will be sharing over at The Hankful House later this week.
But, the most exciting part of the week for me was when Target commented on one of my Instagram photos and asked to share it on Twitter!!! (insert squeal!)
The photo I had posted and shared is for a Secret Santa swap I am doing through Clever Girls. They are actually calling it a #SecretClever swap. I just love doing little gift exchanges through the mail, so I couldn’t turn this one down.

DIY Magnetic Advent Calendar from Lemon Thistle
This advent calendar is really original in that it has magnets on the back of the boxes! This is really cute on her fridge, but I was also thinking it would be cute on a magnetic chalkboard. Each of these boxes has a different pattern on it and I just adore the houndstooth and gold ones.
Fox Holiday Wreath from Made in a Day
This yarn based holiday wreath is so original in that it isn’t using typical Christmas colors. My favorites are the mini fox, mini acorn garland and the bottle brush tree. And, the mini cone trees in matching colors really make it an adorable set all around!
