Christmas morning was nice, because the kids slept in until 8 a.m.! Once awake, it did not take them long to run into the living room to see what Santa had brought!

Nathan-and-his-train
After we opened presents upstairs, we took Nathan downstairs for another surprise from Santa. A 4×8′ electric train table! Mommy slaved away on this for months, I really need to do a blog post on how I created the mountains and scenery for it.

Closeup of the mountains, lake, waterfall and stream. Unfortunately, I ran out of water so I didn’t pour any of the faux water into the stream.

The entire train table… this photo does not do justice!

Nathans-transformer
Nathan with his dual transformer. He also has a steam engine that actually smokes! Its so neat, once it gets going it puffs out smoke every so often. Nathan gets so excited over this… he told us he wanted to move his room downstairs! LOL
